Pulse Industries Wins Earth05 Co-Creation Prize for Effective and Scalable Water Treatment & PurificationTechnology
DAVOS, SWITZERLAND – Pulse Industries, which designs, mass produces, and deploys electron beam linear accelerators , has been awarded the prestigious Earth05 Co-Creation Prize’s 500M Lives Category, recognizing its leadership in applying proven electron beam technology to tackle the global challenge of water contamination. The technology achieves unmatched elimination of toxic ‘ forever’ chemicals like PFAS and PFOA, offering a practical and sustainable solution that transforms how humanity addresses critical water treatment challenges worldwide.
The Earth05 Co-Creation Prize, unveiled concurrently to the World Economic Forum in Davos, celebrates collaborations that drive systemic change and address urgent global issues. As part of the 500M Lives initiative, Pulse joined forces with Dryp , a leader in IoT-enabled water management, and Evodrop AG, an innovator in agricultural water efficiency. Together, they are advancing sustainable solutions to improve water access and quality for millions of people.
“This recognition validates our mission to fundamentally transform essential industrial processes that sustain modern civilization,” said Dr. Eric Burgett, founder and Chief Technology Officer of Pulse Industries. “Our electron beam technology achieves what was previously thought impossible – eliminating forever chemicals , microplastics, and other persistent contaminants from water supplies while creating a more sustainable future for hundreds of millions of people.”
Revolutionizing Water Treatment with E-Beam Technology
Pulse’s electron beam linear accelerators deliver a powerful method for eliminating 99.9999999% of contaminants such as microplastics, pharmaceuticals, and heavy metals. Moreover, this technology represents the only large-scale solution proven to destroy ‘forever’ chemicals like PFAS/PFOS. Capable of treating millions of gallons daily, the system integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Building on the established foundation of electron beam technology – which has been successfully deployed in water treatment facilities from China to Poland – Pulse has engineered revolutionary advances that deliver superior treatment effectiveness in a smaller footprint. Our systems deliver unprecedented results while meeting the most rigorous environmental and water quality standards worldwide with unmatched efficacy, efficiency, and scalability.
Fostering Collaboration and Impact
Maria Dahrieh, Founder of Earth05, praised Pulse’s innovation, stating, “Pulse Industries exemplifies how proven technology can be applied and scaled in cutting-edge ways, and how visionary collaboration can drive systemic change. Their work aligns perfectly with Earth05’s mission to break down barriers and deliver transformative solutions to the world’s most urgent challenges.”
The Co-Creation Prize provides Pulse with access to an eight-month validation program, global investor networks, business development opportunities, and expert mentorship, equipping the company to scale its impact further. Pulse also plans to deepen its partnerships with Dryp and Evodrop AG while exploring synergies with other Earth05 winners, including OceanWell and PolyGone , whose technologies address water scarcity and microplastic pollution.
