Mr. Whitmer holds advanced degrees from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. He formed a consulting company, The Nerdwerks while in school. He specializes in design and manufacturing of custom integrated circuitry for power and RF systems as well as embedded computing technology. Prior to joining Pulse Industries he has worked projects for numerous State and Federal agencies as well as supporting the design and fabrication needs of numerous companies across the nation. Joining the team in 2018, he has become a invaluable asset and directs the electrical engineering efforts for Pulse Industries. He is an expert in complex circuit design and assisted in the design and implementation of several industrial electron linear accelerators. His dynamic, and fast paced design team produce excellent quality parts in support of Pulse Industries UL certified panel design and fabrication efforts. His RF Field Engineering skills have been paramount in Pulse Industries new broad spectrum, fast frequency hopping digital RF control system used in all our linac designs. This improves system efficiencies for our packages in excess of 20% from previous versions. His embedded systems are utilized in our distributed detection network, our conveyance control systems and our Real Time Dosimetry and Imaging detector systems.
